We are 27 Days from Election 2024. Some of you have already cast your ballots. And that is good. We encourage everyone to vote their conscience.

We are also less than 4 weeks from starting our 2026 campaign to β€œDecriminalize Cannabis Now.”

Our Chair Jackee went by the Secretary of State to talk about how various Cannabis initiatives have done over the years… And it is sad to say that last year, the Idaho Medical Marijuana Act of 2024 only gathered 3170 validated signatures. We need your support. We identified a lot of things that didn’t go as expected in 2022 and 2024… And we noticed where we fell short of doing it the way Reclaim did it.

The initiative should be simple and easy to understand (It is.)
The initiative should be short (14 pages of text on legal paper really was not a great idea.)
But most importantly, We need to get out and collect signatures.

We have some amazing volunteers who have stepped up to be county coordinators:
Ada County - Joe Evans/Jackee Winters
Bannock County - Kelly Ransom
Franklin County - Stephany Keller
Nez Perce County - Eric Behler
Owyhee County - Angela Campbell
Twin Falls County - Coletta Thornsbury

With 44 counties in Idaho, we still have room for coordinators and organizers who will work with volunteers and county clerks to get the 6% of the signatures we need to β€œDecriminalize Cannabis Now.”

The steps are simple:
1. Collect the signatures
2. Get them Notarized
3. Turn them into the county clerks for validation
4. Collect them from the county clerk
5. Mail them to Jackee in Boise

And we are the only organization with a Cannabis Initiative.

Tell your friends or family about β€œDecriminalize Cannabis Now” in Idaho, have them reach out to us and volunteer.
